Apple have released Safari 4 beta

safari_iconThat’s right folks. It has been announced today that Apple have released (as a public Beta) Safari 4. With this latest version of Apple’s browser they are promising us faster speeds, Coverflow, full page zoom and (best of all in my opinion) web development tools.I haven’t had a really good chance to play about with it yet but I can’t wait. As I mentioned above, the addition of Web Development tools to Safari is a real bonus.

“built-in web developer tools to debug, tweak and optimize a website for peak performance and compatibility”

is the quote from the Apple site and to me it sounds very intriguing. The ability to edit your live iWeb site could be a real bonus and it something I shall be investigating throughout this week.

  1. I could never get it to open I reinstalled 3.2.1

  2. I like it a lot so far. It seems faster than Firefox, and so far I have not notice any bug.
I’m also intrigued by the web developer tool, I might try it tonight on my site.
