Day 1 – Picking your iWeb theme

Without doubts, one of the most popular reasons that a Mac user picks iWeb to be the tool to use when it comes to building a web site is the fact that much of the heartache is taken out of the whole process thanks to the numerous themes that come included with the app.

Because the design process is, in effect removed, building the web site site becomes far easier as only content is required. Problems arise however when the theme you pick does not suit the web site you are building.

When you look at the 28 themes that are available in the latest version of iWeb you can see straight away that some are better looking than others. Likewise some themes are more suitable for certain niches than other themes. Read more

Sign-up now for 21 Days to a Better iWeb site

I posted on 19 May that I was writing a series of posts entitled 21 Days to a Better iWeb Site and that registration would be open soon after I had completed some testing. Well I am happy to report that the testing has finished and registration is now open for the complete program. Coming soon – 21 Days to a better iWeb site

All About iWeb has been around for over 2 and a half years now and in that time I must have seen thousands of iWeb sites. Some good and some not so good. Not through any fault of the iWeb user, they are only doing what Apple designed iWeb for, picking their favorite theme, adding a splash of content and then publishing to MobileMe.

That is why I have written 21 Days to a Better iWeb Site. The program has been designed after long and careful planning and aimed solely at iWeb users who want to get a little bit more from their iWeb site; whether it is a completly new iWeb site or just redesigning an old one. Read more
