By As with any big EverWeb release, there’s going to come a maintenance release to pick up on any late breaking bugs. EverWeb version 4.4.1 is that release and comes with the following fixes:
- • [FIX] Image masking now exports images based on their visible dimensions, reducing file size and improving accuracy.
• [FIX] .heic and .pdf files now convert properly to PNGs during publishing.
• [FIX] Transparent image shadows now render correctly without unwanted box outlines.
• [FIX] Navigation bars no longer appear above image gallery slideshows.
• [FIX] Drop-down menus in Responsive Row navigation bars now work as expected.
• [FIX] Shapes set to “Always on Top” are now respected when published.
• [FIX] Scale to Fit image fills now match EverWeb’s design view, even with small images.
• [FIX] Export Optimized Images now resizes correctly for small source images.
• [FIX] Image caching and versioning now work correctly when previewing your site.
• [FIX] High-resolution images export properly again, maintaining quality.
• [FIX] Line shapes use the correct stroke color instead of the fill color.
• [FIX] Radial gradients now render properly when published.
• [FIX] Some widgets and HTML snippets were missing width/height and not displaying—now fixed.
• [FIX] Text box editing no longer shifts the element’s top position when resized.
• [FIX] Page switching no longer causes unsaved changes to be lost.
• [FIX] Contact Forms Enhanced now supports long-form content in emails without delivery issues.
• [FIX] Superscript text renders at the correct size and vertical position.
The maintenance release is now available from the EverWeb website for download, or from the EverWeb-> check for Updates… menu for the macOS version, or from the Help-> Check for Updates… menu for the Windows version.
