EverWeb 3.6 Is Here! NEW Fill Slide Show, NEW Site Shield Addon Enhanced Security Features and More!

There’s a great way to start 2022 with the release of EverWeb version 3.6 with with two great new feature additions!

The first new feature brings a Fill: Slide Show feature to TextBoxes, the rectangle shape, images and the Responsive Row widget. Adding a slideshow to a Responsive Row widget is exciting as you can add a slide show as a background and also to the aforementioned objects if any of them are embedded in the Responsive Row. So you can now create slide shows within a slideshow, all without the need for the Image Slider widget! This is a great feature that has many possibilities for both fixed width and responsive website layouts.

The second new feature adds an amazing array of enhanced security features to EverWeb Site Shield Addon! These new features add extra security to your website and is a must if you want the most secure site that you can get. There are six different options to choose from. Adding these new security features to your site would usually be a complex, time consuming task, but EverWeb makes it super simple and has help on hand if you’re unsure about the features that are available. EverWeb Site Shield Addon is available exclusively to all EverWeb+Hosting customers and absolutely free if you have an EverWeb+Hosting 10GB or higher account.

If you want to purchase Site Shield Addon, just go to the File-> Edit Publishing Settings menu option and check the box against ‘Use HTTPS Secure URLs’ then follow the instructions to purchase when prompted. There’s no setup needed either – just EverWeb simplicity!

In addition to the two main features of EverWeb 3.6, the Blog Post Cover Image also gets an ALT Text option and as always the new release includes lots of speed improvements, fixes and small improvements to make building your site easy, fun and hassle free!

If you have a current license you will be notified of the update when you log in to EverWeb the next time. If you don’t get a notification, you can always manually check for an update using the EverWeb-> Check for Update… menu option or download the update directly from the EverWeb website.
