EverWeb 3.8 is Here! Refreshed UI, Mass Mailing, Instant Preview and So Much More!

RAGE Software has just released a new version of its popular website building software! EverWeb 3.8 debuts with a host of new and updated features together with the usual maintenance, stability and performance fixes. Here’s a round up of all that you need to know about EverWeb 3.8…

Refreshed User Interface
If you’re using macOS Big Sur, or later, as your Mac operating system, you’ll notice that EverWeb now has a new look. The refreshed UI takes its cue from Apple’s standardised font and symbol sets to give you a great new clean looking minimalist user experience.

Mass Mailing Comes To Contact Forms Enhanced Addon
EverWeb’s Contact Forms Enhanced Addon is great for those of you who want to retain contact form submissions from your forms. As well as being able to analyze form submission data, in EverWeb 3.8 you can now mass mail out to those who have submitted forms to you. It’s easy to select who you want to mail out to and there’s also a built in editor so that you can easily put together an email for your mass mail out!

Organizing Page Assets
If you’ve ever wanted to organize your images in the Assets Tab on a page by page basis, you now can in EverWeb 3.8! The new version of EverWeb lets you quickly select all of the image assets on the page that you’re currently on then group the selected assets in to their own folder. It’s super easy and simple to do.

Better Email Sending Reliability for the Contact Form Advanced Widget
If you use EverWeb’s Contact Forms Enhanced Addon, life just became that little bit easier and reliable with EverWeb 3.8! When you create a new contact form using the Contact Form Advanced widget, you used to have to enter in your Contact Form Enhanced details, but now you won’t need to fill out all of your SMTP details anymore! Just click on the dropdown in the Email Sending section and select ‘EverWeb’! This helps makes the sending of emails without SMTP details much more reliable. Easy, simple and secure!

Alignment Options for Blog Posts
An often requested feature for bloggers, EverWeb 3.8 now lets you adjust the alignment of your blog post title and blog post date to either the left, center or right of the blog post widget.

Instant Preview
…and finally to the last major new feature: Instant Preview. Super fast previewing of your site comes to EverWeb 3.8 with Instant Preview. All you need to do is to make sure that Preview Server is set ‘On’. To do this, go to EverWeb-> Preferences-> General and cheek the box ‘Use Preview Server’. That’s all you need to do, the rest is automatic!

These are just some of the major new features in EverWeb 3.8, but of course, there are lots of other minor tweaks and minor feature updates to enjoy as well! If you have an current EverWeb license, you’ll get notified of this new release when you login to EverWeb next time. Alternatively you can use the EverWeb-> Check for Updates… menu option or download the latest version from the EverWeb website.
